Terms and Conditions

1. General Rental Terms

This agreement governs the rental conditions for boats (dinghies) offered by WeRentCasty, operating from Castiglione della Pescaia (GR). By making a booking, the customer fully accepts these terms and conditions.

2. Requirements

• Minimum driver age: 18 years old
• Boating licence mandatory for engines over 40 HP
• Valid ID document must be presented at pick-up
• The driver must be registered as a participant in the booking

3. Renter Responsibility

The renter is responsible for the boat during the entire rental period. They agree to comply with navigation regulations, not exceed the maximum number of people on board (6 people), and return the vessel in the same condition as received. The renter is liable for any damage caused by their negligence or that of passengers.

4. Fuel Policy

The tank is delivered full and must be returned full. If not refueled, the cost of missing fuel plus a €15 service fee will be charged.

5. Damage and Security Deposit

A security deposit may be requested at pick-up via credit card pre-authorization. The deposit amount varies based on the chosen insurance package. If damage is not covered by insurance, the deposit will be retained to cover repair costs.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellation over 30 days before: full refund
• Cancellation 7-30 days before: 50% refund
• Cancellation less than 7 days before: no refund
• In case of certified bad weather: full refund or free rescheduling

7. Insurance

Mandatory third-party liability insurance is included in every rental. Werentcasty does NOT offer optional kasko / hull insurance: the 200 euro pre-authorized deposit on the credit card covers any damage to the boat up to the stated deductible. The deposit is released within 7 days of return if no damage occurs.

8. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by Italian law. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Grosseto Court.
